THREADING

Hi Ladies!!

Ever heard of threading? It's an old African hair style that can be used to straighten natural hair. I totally forgot about this hair style until  I read a post on threading on  beadsbraidsbeyond. When I was much younger, my Aunt will thread my hair after washing it to straighten it out for easier braiding. I have never tried to thread any ones hair not to talk of mine but I decided to give it a try.

I parted my hair into seven sections, applied some oil , detangled using my fingers and used sewing thread (in place of the thread used specially for this style) to thread each section. My first trial turned out right, so I'll buy me some hair thread when next I go to the market. Peace & Blessings!!
