Although the harmattan haze is visible, the air doesn't feel as dry as it does in the harmattan season. It's like there is moisture in the air...
Anyways,the weather has led me to embrace protective styles and messy hair. I don't look for curl definition; I don't stress my mane. I just get it clean and try to make it look as presentable as possible. So if you are in Nigeria and your hair is not responding to your curl techniques, don't sweat it. Just go for protective styles or like Funbi advised; simply embrace your beautiful messy hair.
Blessings & Happy Weekends!!
Here in Minnesota, USA we would usually have over 60 inches of snow. No snow and warm temps. I think odd weather is all over the world
ReplyDeleteI like this post. After all, that is what natural hair is all about. . . embracing, loving, and accepting what you've got.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you JenJen. From the international weather reports we get on cable news it should be as you said.
ReplyDeleteHappy you like it JazzWife!
SO SO TRUE, the weather in London has been so impredictible; We've gone from rain, strong winds and snow; It is changing evry day even during the day; So i decided to braid my hair and to wear a bandana. It is too cold here;
