CN2 was so much fun. It's great to see the Natural Community in Abuja growing. You all were the best and I so look forward to CN3 already. Please scroll down to see pictures and hair styles from the meet-up. Bless!

I missed it :(
ReplyDeletePlease, when will this event hold again? I can't believe this kinda thing held in Abuja and that there are lots of naturalists. Wow. I'm strengthened. I'm a little over a year in my transition journey but my hair is not fully natural yet. Don't know if I should do the big chop now or grow it out? Hmmmmm
ReplyDeleteHi Miss Jay Jay,
ReplyDeleteIts always great to read from fellow ABJ Naturals. Sad you couldn't attend the 2nd natural hair meetup in Abuja :(. Try visiting DBK often so you know when the next one is to hold o:)
To your question....
Having a big chop can be a big deal if you aren't one of those tough ladies who are comfortable rocking TWA's. If you are shy then I advice you take a while to get the courage to rock that fro to the high heavens. Just keep transitioning for now and when you get more comfortable with your new growth, pick up a scissors and snap off those lifeless strands *snap-snap! Although, it'll be better to get an expert to help with the chop sha*_^
Stay Blessed!
